First five decisions of the European Court with respect to the Republic of Armenia
Armenia joined to Council of Europe and signed the ECHR in January 2001, ratifying the Convention in April 2002. By the end of 2005, 582 applications had been lodged with the ECtHR against Armenia. As of 1 September 2006, only five admissibility decisions (one admissible; three partially inadmissible; and one inadmissible) and no judgements had been made with respect to Armenia.
