Enforcement and implementation of European Court judgements in Georgia


The implementation of ECtHR judgements is a legally binding obligation upon contracting states. Full compliance with judgements may be divided into three aspects: payment of just satisfaction, taking individual measures relating to the victim of the violation, and adopting general measures to prevent similar violations occurring.
