The European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC) builds the capacity of human rights defenders in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine through joint litigation on the most pressing human rights issues in the region, such as conflict, freedom of assembly, violence against women, LGBT+ rights, discrimination and more.
We are looking for an organised, adaptable and detail-orientated Programme Assistant with excellent excel, IT skills and communication skills. This role would suit either an experienced administrator looking for a new challenge or someone looking to gain practical and hands on experience of a human rights NGO.
Providing support to the entire EHRAC team, the Programme Assistant will be involved in a variety of tasks and projects such as research, financial administration, travel and event management, helping to draft and develop reports and proposals, project monitoring and evaluation and case administration. Russian language skills are essential for this role.
EHRAC is an independently funded legal centre based within the School of Law at Middlesex University.
