Oak Human Rights Fellowship
The European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC) is inviting applications from graduates and post-graduates for a six-month paid human rights fellowship with the Oak Foundation. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about international human rights in practice from within a global organisation. We are seeking exceptional and enthusiastic candidates who are willing to commit to a six-month placement, with the possibility of an extension to be discussed during the placement itself. The fellowship programme is administered by EHRAC, which has benefitted from the support of the Oak Foundation for over ten years.
We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds, including lived experience or any of the issues related to OAK’s work. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience and skills relevant to the IHR priority countries: Brazil, India, Russia and Myanmar.
You must be able to work full time for the duration of the Fellowship and in the Oak Foundation’s central London office, or in accordance with COVID regulations. Please be aware that we cannot provide visa support for applicants. Therefore you must already have the right to live and undertake a paid placement in the UK for the duration of the fellowship. For further information and requirements please download our job description.
If you have any questions about the Fellowship or about the application process, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not send CVs or cover letters to this address. Any applications sent to this email address will be ignored.
Please complete this online form by 30 January 2022 (23:59 hours). We anticipate that interviews will be held online on the 3 and 4 February, with a second round selection panel the following week.
