EHRAC cases in the Journal of International Criminal Justice

Recently, two of EHRAC’s cases have been mentioned in the Journal of International Criminal Justice. In ‘Enforced Disappearance and the European Court of Human Rights’, Helen Keller and Corina Heri make reference to a number of EHRAC’s cases with Memorial, namely Bitiyeva and X v Russia,  Magomadov and Magomadov v. RussiaTurluyeva v. Russia and Tovbulatova and Others v. Russia, with regards to the role played by NGOs in representing applicants at the European Court of Human Rights.

In ‘Enforced Disappearance and the European Court of Human Rights’ ratione temporis Jurisdiction’, Heri goes on to cite EHRAC lawyer, Joanna Evans, on the final judgment in Janowiec and others v Russia, a case lodged by the relatives of victims in the Katyn Massacre in 1940.
