This group concerns a number of cases from Chechnya in the period 2000-2006, arising from the conflict. This includes cases of aerial bombardment, extra-judicial killings, enforced disappearances and torture. The majority of these cases involved a violation of the right to life, under Article 2 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
