Dr Alice Donald, his colleague at the Law School, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n<em>There could not be a more worthy \u2013 and modest \u2013 winner than Philip.\u00a0<\/em><em>He is a great advocate for the European Convention on Human Rights in the UK, a role which is needed now more than ever.
