Our advisors

EHRAC’s work is overseen by the International Steering Committee and a UK-based Advisory Board.

The International Steering Committee is made up of human rights experts from the region of the former Soviet Union where we work. It informs us of recent developments on the ground, and advises us on which issues might be suitable to challenge through European Court litigation. The Steering Committee is chaired by Beso Bokhashvili, the National Human Rights Officer for Georgia, Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in South Caucasus.

EHRAC’s Advisory Board comprises experts in NGO finance, international relations, media, advocacy, and regional and international human rights law, supporting the strategic development of EHRAC as an organisation.

Members of the International Steering Committee and Advisory Board contribute their time to EHRAC on a voluntary basis.
